Origin History
The Bull Terrier was created as a fighting dog in the 1830s by crossing Bulldogs with the now extinct English Terriers. Shortly after that, breeders began working on a miniature version that could be used as ground rats. Unlike terriers, which “go to the ground” and burrow into the ground, searching for prey. The result of a very long trial was the Mini. Today’s Mini’s are companion dogs, but the rat instinct and protective trait remain memorable gifts of many formative years of the breed.
Appearance
Miniature Bull Terriers are muscular and quite strong for their size. Their trademark is their large egg-shaped head with dark triangular eyes that twinkle mischievously. Bull Terrier breeds cannot be confused with any other.
The height at the withers of male dogs is 33 centimeters, and that of bitches is 28 centimeters. Adult Miniature Bull Terriers weigh 12 kg and bitches – up to 11. The hair of the breed is short. The colors are different: from white and brick to tiger.

Their ears should be checked periodically to avoid wax buildup and debris that can lead to infection. Teeth should be brushed regularly with a special brush.
Training
Typical terriers require a trainer with a firm hand and a soft voice and great patience, and a great sense of humor. Dogs of this breed are brilliant, curious, and independent, although they like to please their people when they know what the owner wants. Many Mini Bulls owners offer clicker training. Whatever method owners use, they must keep a positive tone and exercise easy and fun to keep the animal’s attention. Early socialization is a necessity for the Miniature Bull Terrier.

Nutrition
The Miniature Bull Terrier should feel good. A proper diet contributes to this. Any diet should be appropriate for the dog’s age (puppy, adult, or elderly). Balanced dry food is best. The dog should have constant access to clean, potable water.
